Philosophy:
We do not offer set practices in an effort to have the player stay involved and fresh with their hockey 'career' . We encourage our players to play at a higher level of hockey as well as participate in other sports during the Spring.

We have quality coaches, intense competition, elite tournaments and cross training. This allows our players to stay involved and keep a balance with their families and their lives. The player has the elite environment and mix of players from throughout the US and Canada, much like they might encounter in later years at the college level.

2007 Testimonials:
"Sona, Thank you for forwarding the article on Rudi. Just like you said, the experience we had this spring and summer was just incredible. We never expected so many changes would happen to us. Rudi flew to so many cities and joined so many tournaments and made so many friends and finally, we ended up in Chicago with the Mission! And all these just started from that midnight phone call from Atlantic All Stars. Then all the hard works, the cultural shock, the medals and the trophies, we'll never forget. There is a list of names we would like thank. And Sona, you're one of them."

"Greg/Sona, Thanks for the opportunity that the AAS provided to my son Mark in playing with them this past spring. We met a lot of good families that we became friends with and look forward seeing each other this coming winter season during league and district play. Additionally, the successful season the 98's had sets the tone for next years team which will undoubtedly be a lot stronger! Please let us know when you have updated the website for 2008 player applications, Mark is looking forward to trying out and possibly playing for Coach Crawford again."

"Just wanted to say Congrats again on a tremendous performance. I was looking at the pictures and read the article on the website today and I could only imagine what it felt like for those kids during each playoff win."

"You know last night my son and I got a chance to talk about the weekend and all he could say is how happy he was playing on the ALL STAR TEAM. When I asked him what he meant he said dad, 'I don't know how to describe it, its just a great team and a GREAT PLACE to be.'"

"My wife and I are very big believers that the coaching staff sets the tone for a team, that kids will either enjoy or not. You all know how much we all enjoyed this team last year, but I can honestly say you have WON something much bigger than a hockey game, you have won the true heart and happiness of a child and I am sure many others for that matter and for that we say THANK YOU to three amazing coaches."

"Santo, I just wanted to thank you and your staff for giving Thomas the opportunity to compete at Prospects. He was pleased with the competition as well as the rest of the team. Please keep him in mind when putting together your other teams.

"We just got home from a FANTASTIC weekend in Ottawa!!!"

"Thanks for giving Joe a chance to play on the 1998 Atlantic All Star team. He has met some great new fellow teammates and played at a much higher level than ever before."

"Bob Crawford has been especially helpful in building confidence and teaching the kids to work hard in school and on the ice."

"We had a great tournament and brought back our 1st championship from the Outaouais Express AAA, in Gatineau, Quebec. Look forward to more in the future."

"Sona, It was nice meeting you....thank you for all of your help...It was very well organized, and easy on the kids/parents.....I know you put alot of work into that.....thank you again."

"Hey Ike, I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity you have given John, I am glad Anthony saw him play and it was a wake up for me, to see the practices he has missed for the last year. It was great to see the coaches let the kids know when they were doing something wrong, but more importantly how important it is to get an education."

"I want to thank Sona for looking out for us and making sure we were involved. I have not met a more personable, sincere and genuine person as her, a real credit to the organization. The team looks great and I know you will always have a place for John, as long as he does not lose his heart and desire. Once again, thank you Ike,you have been great to us from the very first day we met."

"Ike, Just a quick note. Ryan had a great weekend. He can't wait until the 1st tournament. I should say - we can't. Thanks to you, Coach Carangelo and the rest of the All-star's personnel & parents for making Ryan feel part of the team right away."

"Coach Ike, I had the pleasure of driving home in a very quiet car yesterday. Both Mikey and Dante were crushed (after about 20 minutes of yapping about the weekend). They had a great time with their new teammates and we're really looking forward to seeing you all April 27th in Canada. The practices were great and the extra goaltending instruction was a nice touch. You really got a lot out of the kids in each hour they were on the ice. Like you, we are very confident this team can go a long way and I just wanted to thank you for being patient early on and getting Mikey involved."

"Coach Ike: Thanks for a great weekend! I'm very impressed with the talent you've put together for our '97 team, but more importantly with how you've addressed the team (the speech stressing school was great and a first), on ice drills were awesome, you even went our of your way to see that the "new comers" felt welcome - and we certainly did. I wish there were more coaches with your approach involved with youth sports. Dante really had a blast and is very excited about being a part of the All Stars this season. It seems like he knew the kids on the team forever. Thanks again, we appreciate everything you and the AAS Staff are doing for our kids."

2006 Testimonials:
"I just wanted to advise how incredibly impressed my wife and I were with you and your team. My son has been around travel hockey for some time and I can honestly say we have never walked away from a welcome session and 1st game like we did from Sunday's experience. You have certainly gained our respect and admiration for this organization. It is without a doubt 1st class. Once again, Thank you for the experience as we are really looking forward to the entire season."

"What can I say? What a tremendous experience for those boys, you treated them like Little NHLer's. It is obvious how much time and effort you put into this team, and your wife and manager as well! (My son) has played on a lot of teams but has never had a coach put in that much effort. I am so glad you picked him to be on this team, I am sure it will be a great Spring!"

"From a hockey stand point; we are excited to see this level of hockey from a group of kids that just met and can’t wait to get to Canada for the first tournament."

"(My son) had a good time this past weekend. Hey if you were a kid and you got to fly on a plane, stay in a hotel, swim in a pool and then meet a NHL player how couldn't you have fun! I also wanted to thank you again for putting yesterday together. We have been a part of several Spring/Summer travel teams and that was by far the best intro to a team that we have had so far. We both really enjoyed the experience."

"It was a great experience all around. It was a real pleasure to watch you bring something out of (my son) that I hadn't seen since we left Illinois last year. You and (your Asst Coach) left him with a great feeling about himself this weekend and that is more precious than a trophy! You have really picked a superb group of kids and it is a real pleasure to be on this team."

"(My son) had the time of his life and loved playing for (the Coach). He is absolutely thrilled about the possibility of playing more with the team and we would be pleased as well. A very nice bunch of people and quite a positive experience - a pretty good outcome given only ten skaters! Just so you know, we don't mind driving or travelling to the U.S. (in fact we love it!) so if you need a player just let us know."

"I am writing to 'thank you' for having (my son) this weekend. My son talked for two hours last night. He enjoyed the kids, and the coaching very much. I know that this experience will leave a lasting impression, and if I thought we could fit another tournament in this summer he would be there (baseball, soccer, and 3 other hockey teams) which two are just local state league fun, but will keep us busy none the less. He enjoyed the competition, and raved about his team. I want to wish you all luck in the next tournament, and I really look forward to meeting you in Connecticut. Thank you so much, and my son hopes to play with you again."

"(Coach), Thank you for the great time our family experienced this past weekend. Everything was very well organized. A top notch effort from all. (My son) really enjoyed the hockey and meeting all his new friends. Can't wait for Toronto!"

"Hey (Coach), Just wanted to pass on that (my son) had a great time playing in Quebec. He was very excited about meeting new friends and competing at that level and is really pumped up about playing in the remaining tournaments. Good job to you and the other coaches for pulling the team together. I know it's difficult to figure out where kids can play (position) without seeing them consistently. To make it to the quarter finals in itself was a big success."

"I just wanted to leave you a note to let you know what a great job (the Coach) did with the (team). The kids did well as a team and they all had fun. It was a great experience for (my son) and we are looking forward to the next one in Toronto. Thanks for asking us to join the Team."

"We had a great time this past weekend too. (My son) likes his teammates and enjoys having you and (the Asst Coach) as coaches. This has been a great experience for him so far and we appreciate your hard work and enthusiasm."

"(My son) really enjoyed the experience and had nothing but positive comments about the kids and coaches. Any comments, suggestions or other input on how our kids can help the team will be more than welcome."

"Great job with the kids!! (My son) enjoyed playing for you and loved the experience. (He) got more feedback from you in one weekend than he did the balance of last year."

"We just want to say thank you for the great tournament, the boys had a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you so much for inviting them."

"Once again thank you guys for making the spring season great for these kids."

"Let me put it this way. I dont think we have ever been happier. (The Coach) and the entire coaching staff has been great for (our son) and has been giving him the confidence that he needs to compete in the sport he loves as much as life."

"I only wish that he will get many more years of work with (the coach) as he not only knows the game of Hockey but he understands kids and the things that are important ot them. Perfect example the effort that went into the welcoming day. All of these things make him a great person as much as an excellent hockey coach."

"We just want the season to continue as it has been a fantastic experience for (our son). Can't wait to see you guys in Toronto."

"The choice of tournaments and the level of competition was exactly what we were looking for."

"Your style of coaching and the positive approach you had with the boys was truly admirable."
