"Coach Scott", as he is known, has 20 years of coaching youth athletics from beginners to the highly competitive. His background includes high level coaching of tennis, baseball, and of course hockey. A number of students that Scott has worked with have gone onto highly successful professional sports careers. He believes that clear communication, positive reinforcement, and consistent repetition are the cornerstones of his coaching style. "Each child has a special talent, it is our job as coaches to find it, develop it, and help the athlete repeat it." During his playing days, he played hockey for various organizations in Connecticut as a goalie, and was also a ranked Division 1 tennis player in college. He has spent the last 7 years in the CT Clippers Hockey organization coaching youth athletes from learn to play through the Pee Wee level. The last 2 seasons he has also been an assistant coach, recruiter, and scout with the 96 Atlantic All Stars team.

Hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, Stephan Seeger is a criminal defense attorney who first moved to Stamford, Connecticut, in 1998, shortly after graduating law school.

He is USA Hockey certified as a Level 4 coach, and has coached and assisted at various levels with several youth hockey organizations, including Greenwich Blues, Mid Fairfield, Expressway Stars, and the New England Nighthawks.

In addition to youth hockey, Stephan’s experience extended into the ranks of minor-pro hockey in 2006-07, a season during which he served as Head Coach and General Manager of the Championship winning New England Stars of the North Eastern Hockey League.

Thanks again to all of the players and their families for taking time to try out and showing interest in the program. The final decisions were not easy due to the number of very talented young men that play hockey in this area. We wish we could have taken everyone that wanted to play. It was our privilege to have had a chance to meet so many talented players and fantastic families during the evaluation process.

          - Coach Steve and Coach Scott
